Why, you ask?

If you are reading this you have no doubt by now asked yourself, "why the hell is this guy writing a blog?" Well I am here to explain myself and ask you to give me chance. Ever since I can remember sports have been part of my life and my passion has only grown through my college experience. It started with my parents. My mother was a girls basketball coach for (I have no idea) years and has since been a physical education teacher. My father was a basketball and football coach for (again, I have no idea) years and has since been in sports administration for the past 20. It was a part of me and still is; I love sports. With that said, my passion sometimes leads me to go on rants on twitter (@rtriplett41) which I realize gets on everybody's nerves. So I have decided to kill two birds with one stone and start a sports blog to quit boring many of you with my tweets and to dive deeper into something I love, sports.

Now this blog will discuss mainly college athletics, mostly focussing on the SEC. And no, it won't be all Mississippi State, I love to make fun of everyone. It will be mostly sarcastic pondering over the fact no one in the sports world is as smart as I am. Thanks for reading and I hope you guys will come back and read more.
